Curricular Track: Physical Oceanography

Research Interests: Observational and theoretical studies in upper ocean dynamics, internal gravity waves, mixing processes, equatorial dynamics, flow near topography, and regional circulation focusing on process-oriented studies, development of long range autonomous glider vehicles for ocean sampling

Other Affiliations: Participant in ONR initiatives in the Arabian and Japan Seas, the Autonomous Oceanographic Sampling Network project, and Senior Fellow of the Joint Institute for Study of the Atmosphere and Ocean (JISAO)
